I’ve been missing living in London lately – there’s always something to do in London. There’s always a new place to explore, a new adventure to be had, new food to try. At any given moment you could hop on the tube and visit (1) Buckingham palace at sunset, or visit (2) Greenwich by boat, or watch the (3) changing of the guards.
There are bookstores and pubs and streets that breathe history. I lived there for 4 months and there was still a ton I didn’t get to explore. Maybe I’ll get to explore more someday.
- Strawberries and bananas on a stick covered with dark Belgium chocolate, nuts, Oreos, and marshmallows
I got this a few times from a stand at a market in Shoreditch and honestly, it’s worth crossing oceans for.
- A row of colorful houses in Notting Hill
Notting Hill is known for its colorful houses and outdoor markets (they sell a lot of different kinds of olives there). It’s also known for the Julia Roberts movie set there: Notting Hill.
- The Pelicans in St James’s Park
They’re really quite large, actually.
- Afternoon tea at the Tea Terrace
What’s a trip to London without afternoon tea? This place gave major Alice in Wonderland vibes. *Champagne also included.
Have you ever been to London? Where did you go and what did you see?
