Look at me keeping up with a series. Nice.
This Friday morning I’m drinking in all the new music and entertainment we’ve been blessed with this past week. Although I am decidedly mixing my pop culture absorption with copious cups of coffee – and not tea – as this photo might have you believe. Not that I’m against tea. I can sip some tea.
I’m dog sitting this weekend but beyond that I don’t really have any set in stone plans – that’s assuming that listening to Kesha’s new album on repeat doesn’t count. (Yes? No? Let me know.)
Fun things from the week
xI’m pretty sure this review from Rolling Stone about Kesha’s comeback album is written by a word genie. I seriously love the writing so much.
- (Also my current favorites from her new album are ‘Finding You’ and ‘Boots.’)
xIf you watch Game of Thrones, and you’re caught up with the latest episode, this ‘Game of Jones’ bit with Leslie Jones and Seth Meyers is a must-see.
xHas anyone seen (or does anyone have plans to see) The Big Sick? Every time I see the trailer for it I get the urge to drive to the theater. And I haven’t seen a movie in theaters in years.
xMore pics of Rihanna from her time in Barbados recently. How do I fill out an application to be her?
xThis adorable video of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s daughter watching a clip of John with the Sesame Street characters pretty much made my whole week.
xI honestly love dad jokes. lol
xThis looks terrifying but also I want to do it.
xI really don’t understand why the world wants avocado’s to always be the top trend but these responses to Time’s claim about a new ‘avocado catchphrase’ had me loling.
What have you been listening to/reading/watching/obsessing over this week?
Random fun fact: According to Google, “the United Nations estimates that there are over three million shipwrecks on the ocean floors.” Jeez.
